TECHNICAL SUMMARY: MIL-DTL-38999 (#25-37) High-Density Hybrid Cable Assembly
Project Overview
ANOISON has engineered and delivered a custom hybrid interconnect assembly for multi-channel benchtop testing and hardware verification. The assembly is integrated into early-stage prototype test fixtures to evaluate high-density, multi-signal routing under continuous laboratory evaluation.
The build utilizes the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III (#25-37) architecture, selected to achieve maximum signal density and mechanical locking reliability within compact enclosure geometries.
Technical Specifications & Implementation
– Multi-Signal Integration & Crosstalk Isolation: The 37-pin configuration integrates RF coaxial paths, high-speed digital lines, and low-frequency DC/control channels within a single #25 shell. Proprietary internal shielding and layout separation ensure high-frequency integrity and eliminate coupling from adjacent control lines.
– Anti-Vibration Tri-Start Coupling: The Series III heavy-duty threaded coupling mechanism provides positive locking and continuous mechanical stability during high-intensity benchtop stress and vibration cycles.
– Harness Consolidation: Consolidating discrete RF, digital, and power paths into a single interface significantly reduces harness bulk, eliminates routing congestion within test fixtures, and simplifies device-under-test (DUT) setup.
Current Status
The assembly is actively deployed in multi-channel laboratory test environments, providing verified signal integrity and mechanical stability across repeatable hardware prototyping cycles.
